GTR, acquires Cartier Chemical Products.

Cartier, a family business founded in 1939, operates in the industrial cleaning products and environmental products market. Over the years, Cartier has built an enviable reputation, particularly in industrial cleaning applications and chemical spill control kits, in Canada, the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
 
This acquisition represents an important element for GTR in its growth strategy by improving the positioning of the company and demonstrates GTR's desire to offer its current and future customers a broader product offering. Cartier is a perfect complement to GTR’s current offering in addition to providing excellent growth opportunities.
 
The transaction includes a factory-warehouse of over 50,000 square feet located in Lachine, which will give access to new production equipment as well as increased capacity to GTR.
 
We are also very pleased to announce that Mr. Bill Robins and his group, will join the GTR team, which will allow us to ensure the growth, the continuity of operations and the maintenance of the level of service to which the customers are used to.
 
Based in Pointe-aux-Trembles (Quebec), GTR Chemical Solutions also has 4 other subsidiaries: SCI, specializing in textiles, pulp and paper and water treatment, Desco, a leader in the design of products for vehicle washing and industrial applications as well as DeaneCo, a company specializing in aerospace chemicals and surface treatment. All of the production of the subsidiaries is handled by GTR Laboratories, which allows us to benefit from synergies in production, supply and development.
